Music Ministries

Choir
We are very proud of our choir members who are very dedicated and talented. The choir sings at both services, and participation is open to all youth and adults. Every year they present a cantata, either at Christmas or Easter. Choir rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings.

Praise Team
Our Praise Band, called “Waking Lazarus,” plays for the 8:45 service. Led by Jerri McIlhagga on keyboard, they are joined by a group of singers who lead us in a time of worship and praise that is guaranteed to awaken your spirit!

Pipe Organ
Instrumental support for the traditional service is provided by our music director, Jerri McIlhagga, playing an Abbott and Seiker pipe organ, built in 1967. The organ includes 1,390 pipes.

Handbells
Our handbell choir plays for special times of worship, such as Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday.

Other instruments used in worship at Trinity include hand chimes, tuned cup bells, strings, brass and percussion – even a triangle, on occasion. All volunteers are welcome… no auditions necessary!
