![]() WORSHIP SERVICESOur worship services offer a means to experience God’s message of grace, love, hope and forgiveness for all people. Our 9:00 a.m. Sunday worship service is lively and contemporary in style. The service is relaxed and casual, with an emphasis on contemporary music and worship songs. Sunday School students, from preschool to high school, are invited to attend the opening part of this service; they are then dismissed at 9:30 a.m. to attend their classes. Our 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service is traditional in style, using the hymns and liturgical settings found in the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal and other resources. Our pipe organ is the primary instrument for this service. Nursery care is provided during both services for children under the age of 4 years. We have a coffee time following both our services in Heinecken Hall. All are invited to join us for refreshments and conversation. HOLY COMMUNIONHoly Communion is celebrated at the 9:00 service on the 3rd Sunday of the month and at the 10:45 service on the 1st Sunday of the month, and at both services on festival Sundays. All baptized Christians who believe in the real presence of Christ’s body and blood are invited to receive communion. Children who have not yet received communion instruction are invited to receive a blessing. |
